Fans are not loyal to the manager or the players! they are loyal to the name of the club
they played well tonight well doen to them
such a shame that you can get to the last 16 of the eurpopean cup yet the league title is over for you.
does rotation work?
on a european stage? yes it does
on a league match? id say no, so liverpool fans will have to be happy doing well in europe they wont win the league for a while

guess it depends on the squad depth, great teams will always have 5 world class players on the bench, liverpool have not go that depth to rotate and its cosr them
i think Man united and chelsea can right now.. thats the difference
1 November, 2006 at 10:54 am #245785I agree Matty…………..I think one of the main problems we are having with the squad is that there are too many players that are mediocre to say the least………
I think we are beginning to get a decent squad of young players but lke everything it takes time to adapt and play at premiership level……….
Schevchenko at Chelsea being a point he his a world class player but at Chelsea loks nothing special……………Droghba been there a few seasons now and his now beginning to reach his potential………..
Rooney still young ……………but is now playing well………..

After Liverpool’s shameful defeat to the scumbags (Man Utd to the insane), what do you reckon Benitez has ever done for Liverpool? In my opinion, NOTHING! He won the European cup in his first season, (with Houlliers team) and he won the FA cup last year, however, where does the future lie? He is taking Liverpool backwards this season as the results show(1 goal scored away from home FFS), this massive club needs new direction. I hope sunny reads this (7-0)
omg u fickle fecker
3 November, 2006 at 5:20 pm #245787Benitez’s problem was starting the season with a rotation policy instead of introducing it gradually.
4 November, 2006 at 7:26 am #245788GOOD CALL TIGGY,BUT HES GETTING THERE AT LAST,SISSOKO IS GET BETTER EVERY GAME,GOTTA HAVE GERRARD ROAMING,PLAYING A LOT MORE LIKE A TEAM NOW INSTEAD OF INDIVIDUALS…………..TIME WILL TELL.

Um? No they don’t! Man United haven’t, Arsenal haven’t, but we and Arsenal have great squads. I don”t know what your definition of, “world class” is, but I can assure you, that you have the words, “world class” confused with something else. I doubt very much that any team in the world has 5 world class players on the bench.
13 November, 2006 at 8:57 am #245790Well the game today says it all…………………..still no wins away from home………
16pts behind Utd…………Going to be a long season………………and no where near winnng the premiership yet again…….
13 November, 2006 at 9:08 am #245791I think there is going to be a job vacancy very soon at liverpool…. I cant see the fans taking much more, especially the away games record…

Benitez shoves a winger, Zenden in centre midfield, and leaves Gerrard out of position for a WINGER who played in his position? They are going to lose Gerrard if he can’t even get in his original position for a player like Zenden, who is a winger!
