I dont know the story, but were these people actually ever in any real danger? :?
I remember reading the book Bravo Two Zero based on events in the first Iraq War. Those people were tortured, and were in very real danger.
Would Iran really have risked totally isolating themselves by harming these hostages? Wouldent it just have been like a few nights at a 2 star Hotel? :wink:…Errr.. Being measured up for your own coffin… Being stripped, threatened with rape and then being told all your collegues have been sent home.. is like being in a 2 star hotel?

Im looking at the sun website now, but its not on there. He was having a go at the armchair critics (being paid) for their views and in the same breath condeming the sailors.
Also picking up on points about the dangers of their jobs, the low pay and the overall feeling of soldiers he has spoken too is they fully support them for selling their stories.
The Daily Mail also get a clubbing from him for being the biggest critics, supposedly they had their offer to print the stories declined!!!
It goes a lot deeper than a few lines that I can remember, but I agreed with all the points he made.
One of them being they were in very dangerous waters… the most dangerous in the world and most dont even get 20 grand a year… would you do it?
