I got a message as i was trying to test my firewall.
It said the IP address requesting this page is different from the IP address of my computer
Is there anyway i can get round this to run the tests?What tests on your firewall are you attempting to run?
this morning my icon that is usually red, was black i checked and it said my firewall was disabled, i went into my security as far as it would let me.
that said my firewall was enabled.
Because of the contradicting messages i just tried the test firewall option that was a choice in the popup info after clicking on the icon
I dont know if this makes any difference but my security is McAfee, and the message about my IP address was from hackerwatch.orgIf you want to test your firewall is working as it should go here and scan your systems ports.

Thanx i will check now.when mine (McAffee too) says it’s disabled i just right click n enable it. if that dont work restart :?
