So often in our lives someone touches us, becomes a friend. Such was Peds. He was always there to watch out for us. I will never forget his kindness to me and how he was a guardian angel to me. I know others that really knew him feel the same way. If you ever needed him he was there. I have a poem I’d like to dedicate in memory of him. I know this is not the “Art Section”, but felt it most fitting so all could see it and remember him. I will miss him, but will never forget him. He touched my life forever.
Friends
Friends are very special people who accept
each other with unconditional caring. They
Recognize each other’s talents and faults and
acknowledge them without judgement.
They are Incapable of turning away when times
are tough and life’s problems seem hard to bear.
Instead they Encourage each other so they can
enjoy the good times and find strength to endure the
bad times. They’re Never afraid to say what they feel
and can be honest without causing hurt or pain.
They can Depend On each other
because they have that kind of trust that allows them to
Share the best and the worst of their lives with laughter
and without fear.
You were one of these special people,
and I’m glad you were my friend.

We wont moan , we will sing
For all the joy, that they did bring
As every flower that will grow
Each memory will surely show
Whenever the rain may fall, or the wind will blow
The sun will shine, and snowflakes flutter and flow
Each passing day will come and go
We will remember with fondness of the man we used to know1 May, 2007 at 4:13 am #268752:shock:

My heart goes out to him… his family… and especially to the one person on here who he loved with all his heart.

1 May, 2007 at 9:31 am #268758It is always terribly sad when somebody dies and it is even more distressing when you knew the deceased personally. Andy Jones (Pedant to his friends in JustChat) was known to so many of us in the chatrooms and was much liked by all those who met him.
He joined the Staff team in November 2005 as ChatGuideJA and I had the pleasure of training him to be a ChatGuide. He rapidly brought his sharp wit and ironic sense of humour to bear and established himself as a kind and popular member of Staff.
He always had something amusing to say and was unfailingly helpful both to new members of Staff and chatters alike. He was always kind to new users, sometimes under the most trying circumstances, and had the rare ability to be able to defuse arguments with a witty retort.
He was only 42 and would have had his 43rd birthday later this month. For somebody to pass away this young is a tragedy, made all the more distressing because we all knew and liked him.
On behalf of all the members of JustChat Staff, may I express our condolences to his family and to those who loved him.
