All you experts waffling on, yet no-one has mentioned the obvious….
Yet you have been openly describing me as a raging alcoholic for a number of weeks. Seems that waffle is infectious. I stooped drinking near on 8 weeks ago, overnight, through willpower alone and stubbornness. Guess that theory about detox is mightily flawed, applying your own logic of course.

I am merely applying your logic and the language you choose Alfred, unless of course you know better than everyone else, including the health professionals who have commented. Each story is unique, as are the degrees of alcoholism, I accept I didn’t explain myself very well earlier and so it was misunderstood, you haven’t either and your first sentence doesn’t help your theory either does it.
16 June, 2017 at 7:29 pm #1053528Oh and you don’t have to be at deaths door falling out of bed rat arsed, I would imagine Judges all over the UK do it frequently.
16 June, 2017 at 7:35 pm #1053530Has someone said they also had to be locked up and denied medical help?
Spot on Netty. No one has ever nor would ever suggest that. I said help, that means the proper help she needs via the appropriate people, trained to help people with drink problems. It’s either get help or die.

You seem to be mistaken, these are not my theories, I am just relaying to you from medical professionals, (try reading the link at the bottom of my first post)
including the health professionals who have commented.
with all respects to the health professionals who have commented,

try taking it up with one of the above.Guess that theory about detox is mightily flawed,
Why because you didnt die when you detoxed?
Can you not read? the article clearly uses the terms “can” and “could” not “shall” or “will”In other words, it can or could kill, not “will” kill. As you point out, every case is different and depends on the level of addiction.
Being run over by a car “can” also kill, doesn’t mean it “will” kill.

I totally agree. Which was my point. If I could be bothered getting into a Blossomesque tit for tat argument with you, I would present an alternative, I can’t be bothered though. So you carry on.
