    Ok, thanks, I’ll carry on.

So Gerry, my theories as you called them, and said were wrong, were actually the opinions of Harvard medical experts, amongst others.

My theory, which I stand by, you have just admitted, and proven to be true.

YOU ARE JUST A PISSHEAD DRUNK !

Isn’t there a saying something like “once an alcoholic, always an alcoholic”

    I rest my case.

Cheers Big ears,. drink up lad x

Why is it ouch Tom, the moment a random online name on a screen resorts to abuse the argument is already lost.

I doubt Elvis has a pelvis Tom, not at his age. Shaking that Zimmer doesn’t have the same ring though does it.

Gerry, I have recently turned 50 years of age, and I’m in very good shape for my age. I regularly swim, cycle and play football with lads half my age. I also lead a very healthy lifestyle.

I do believe George Forman was still boxing professionally at roughly my age, and Sir Stanley Mathews was still playing professional football at 52. Admittedly, I’m no Forman or Mathews, and I very much doubt that you are.

Surely agewise you can’t be too far behind me? assuming that you’re not even older than I am, oh and btw, what condition is your debilitated body in after the years of your self-confessed alcoholism and alcohol abuse?

How did your recent MRI chest scan go recently? got a clean bill of health?

Maybe we can go swimming or cycling together sometime?

Nothing and no one will stop a heavy drinker except the drinker themselves. Alcoholism is one of the hardest yet most rewarding things to beat but it’s nigh on impossible to do alone. Often you have to dig deep to unearth why alcohol is used as a crutch and until you tackle that, in my personal opinion, you stand little chance.

As for Moon, my heart goes out to her and I gotta say I admire her for every attempt she makes to quit boozing.

Tis easy for people to judge, criticize and condemn drinkers, they make easy targets.

None of us know why some people need to drink, might be worth pausing for thought.

Alfred, please post evidence that I have ever typed that I am an alcoholic, or have ever stated I am an alcoholic, because if you don’t, you look pretty silly right now don’t you. If you are going to lurk in the room like your “nemesis” Blossom, taking notes, please get your facts right. Alfred, to repeat Observer, ish, you can fool some of the people, some of the time…
