    I have been in Hell these past couple of days. Have you ever had one of those horrible niggling little tunes going round your head when you wake up and go to sleep. When, O when will it go? This little piece of cod-devotion is horrible, and it’s taking a while to replace with other tunes. Listen, endure, suffer, take this burden from my shoulders…

    the direst moment comes when she stops singing and one of the poor suffering choirboys (obviously they’ve all been newly-castrated from the looks on theri faces) takes over the chorus…listen and weep

    Don’t the woman. Don’t know the film. But I like Spencer Tracy… It wasn’t that bad.

    Nooo..it’s not about the film being bad.

    I saw the movie when I was a kid – had Clark Gable in it..about the San Francisco earthquake..was a good movie for its time.

    it’s a horrible song, but above all it’s the tune..it’s been haunting me..some tunes do that..when I heard Napoleon XIV’s hit pop song, ‘They’re Coming to Take me Away Ha Ha!’ back in 1964 the tune had a similar effect, like being on laughing gas or something.

    Jeroosalem, Jeroo-oosalem – I want the tune out of my head!!!
