Well I’m just gonna become more and more like Alf Garnett from now on.

23 May, 2011 at 10:31 pm #468484I’ve got the entire box set, seriously, I’m just gonna become just like him
One thing that makes me giggle, and, I couldn’t watch this clip for months and months, cos my ex never heard of Alf Garnett before, so she looked him up, and this is first clip she came across, and showed it me giggling saying I’m actually just like him when we’re out shopping. But now I can watch it and giggle again, cos, I really am!

Tell you, with age, I’m just getting more and more like him!
I’ve always been that way inclined since my teens, but, after 10 years passing, it’s just getting worse

24 May, 2011 at 8:12 am #468486I think it might be easy for a young person to get sucked into that mindset Tom… the thing is we all grow up, I know you are probably not seeking advice here but gosh, just cant help giving it. Extricate yourself from people full of hate, seek out the good in the world, you are obviously a very capable person, just change your mindset.
24 May, 2011 at 12:14 pm #468487yip you’re right you’re getting old

thing is with ‘in sickness and in health’ and ’till death us do part’……..the whole point was…..they were actually taking the mick out of everyone who had rascist attitudes and biggoted thinking……….you’ve only got to watch the scene eg: in which Derek Griffiths completely takes the mick out of black people……..bearing in mind that’s exactly what he is.

Its not too bad getting old Tom, thing you have to do is not gain weight and think young…. I decided not to bother with death though…. too messy! :D
It bloody sucks getting old. I used to be 18 just a couple of years ago, now here I am, nearing 30.
I’m hitting that, what else is there to do in life, I’ve done it all. I can drink anyone under the table. I can out-drug even the hardiest of druggies. I’ve gigged, I’ve slept in alleyways and parks, I’ve been engaged, I’ve been in a coma, I’ve had 15 minutes of fame, I’ve stood for council, I’ve become a rising star in Nationalism and built (and simultaneously destroyed) a blossoming political career, I’ve protested, I’ve been to EDL rallies, I’ve been arrested. Seriously, what else is there!
Now’a’days I’m happy with a cup of tea and an early night. Everything else just seems to bore me now. :( growing ooooolllllddddddddddddd!
laughing here at you moaning about being 30
Me too tinks… Tom if you have done all those things in your short life, just think what you could achieve in the rest of it… the world is your oyster
Too twue, Teapot me ol’mucker.
Your 30s could so easily be the best decade of your life. As could your 40s, 50s 60s. Hey, you get the message. Life is for living. The only crime is not getting on with it cos you’re old and afraid.
Enjoy the tea and chill. You can raise the roof again tomorrow!
:D
4 June, 2011 at 4:43 pm #468490What about putting something back Tom? Doing something positive and heroic to be remembered for, like walking from lands end to john o’groats for charity, or doing VSO? Youth is about hedonism, but the real world has a tendency to grab you by the balls if you don’t contribute in a positive way to society, and with age comes a maturer understanding of our place in the cosmos, and what we can do to make the world a better place to be!
Failing that, just get a herd of goats and shag them all senseless.
