Like the Tory party you seem so proud to use in your name, you have lots to say, but it amounts to fuck all!

excuse me..i am far from f.uckin racist.
i find it unsettling and rude when the talk in ther own language wile laughing and and looking at me while doing it.
as they use the odd English sware words….f.uckers, w.ankers.. sluts…..you can only imagine what they are talking about. You started off well on that post Jenny. But it ended up by sounding like you have a paranoia problem! It’s very common to think that people talking a language which you don’t understand are talking about you. I have worked with Deaf people for the last 8 years and they have this paranoia. I have also been in large groups of sign language users and felt the same thing myself. Tolerance is something we Brits are good at in general. We should use it and be proud of it.
yes i was going to elaborate more in that post,,but i had to go because the kids were home …
i have no problem with them talking in there own language at all.
i was trying to make a point..(but failing miserably) that if it was a group of Irish lads being rude and making all the racked ….or sitting there slagging me off,,, i could walk up to them and ask them to keep the noise down or what ever…and that would be the end of story…( or it could get nasty and end in violence)
but if its a gang of foreign lads doing the same thing, and i go over and ask them to keep the noise down…i get accused of being racist. and there have been cases where people have been brought to court and charged because of this.
dont know if i got my point across there..if i still make no sense what so ever.
sorry..i could explain this better if i was talking face to face with you.
21 June, 2006 at 4:12 pm #227216This thread is such bullsh1t but then again it was started by Ugo. I guess the people he met on the train were on their way to the jobcentre to pretend they couldn’t speak english.
Think about it? Ugo a football fan upset about people talking loudly and swearing? Do me a favour. I’ve seen people fight in front of their children outside football grounds, so I doubt your average football supporter is going to be upset about people talking loudly and swearing. Sounds like another jackanory by Ugo.
As for RCMP wearing turbans. Turbans are part of the Sikh religion not just cultural decoration. Every Sikh male has to wear some sort of religious head-gear as part of their faith. It’s not optional if you want to be a Sikh. What’s the big deal anyway if a policeman wears a turban? Does it affect his ability to do his job? Does a mountie’s hat have special powers?
21 June, 2006 at 4:16 pm #227217Quite right Jigsy, I was in your country once (Quebec) and these two ignorant twonks in the hotel started speaking French ffs. The people in the lobby were too scared to complain but I went up and told them to stop being so ignorant and speak fecking English OR ELSE but they just ignored me. I think one was a customer but the other was the fecking bloke behind the desk!!!! The manager threatened to call the Mounties to come and have ME arrested ffs!!!! They even put French on the television and on all the fecking menus just to annoy me – what is THAT all about! They should pi ss off back to Frenchland where they belong

You made perfect sense to me Jenny in this and your previous post.
I think Amphibian is just choosing to be pedantic on this one. Iv’e had the same thing happen to me, on trains, buses etc., Iv’e sometimes made a sarcastic comment but other times have just ignored it, after all, all they’re doing is showing and PROVING!!! their own ignorance eh
