IF YOUR CHILD WAS?IS BEING BULLIED……what advice/action ?

like i said welsh we all see and d o things differently, im not against bringing back the slipper in schools either, i would like to add that i have punished my child in different ways in the past including a good spanking, and despite all the problems he has, i am constantly being told what a well rounded, polite and pleasant 15 year old he is… not saying other ways people do things arent right each to their own, but its my opinion whether you or anyone likes it or not. I’m sure your children were bought up in a different way and are just as pleasant, but we all do things differently and as long as they turn out as decent adults we have done our job in my opinion.

Difficult one this, yes i would definately inform the school, but as lucy said, when i was at school, the moment the parents got involved they did infact get worse, maybe not physical but verbal taunting about being rats grasses, mummies boys daddies girl etc, but the way kids are nowadays its so much worse, it alot more physical often and more dangerous.
That said if i found out my kid was bullying someone and a father kicked him up the fundamental orifice for it i’d not only prasie them i’d do it again when he got home. And no i’m not saying it just cos its thin and i get on ok with him, if you read over any old posts on this kind of thing, its always been my stand on it, often to many peoples indignation, but hey there are no manuals we all do what we think is best.

Oh and anc, thats half the problem nowadays parents do and will take their kids word over anyone elsesand dont discipline them sufficiently hence the state we are in now.its wrong so wrong, you are the adult and it should be your word over theirs.
