If i had to stay in this country i’d prob get invovled with the homeless. I’d build very basic homes for them so they at least have a permanet address so they can then get a bank account and maybe a job. It would be for people who really need the help. The junkies and pi55heads can stay in th gutter andcarry on living in thier own sh1t.
Im glad you want to help the homeless, the world needs more people like you…BUT.. you cant cast aside drink and drug addicts…im not sure whether or not you have known many, but they are as much in need as any other person. An addict cant help behaving the way they do, they are driven by an overwhelming craving, and unless you’ve been in their shoes, or have known someone in their postion, you cant begin to comment. I for one feel as much sympathy for them as any other homeless person.
My money,My rules !
I would agree with you up to a point.
I just think if you are a junkie or druggy you are more likely to get help from some sort of organisation anyway.
There are a lot of people out there that don’t tick the right boxes on a form and are overlooked. Thats why we see so many sleeping rough ni all the large city’s.
I work a few doors along from a wet hostel, and i’m sorry they are a waste of space. I get prob 3 people a day stoned of their t1ts coming into my shop trying to sell me stuff they have prob robbed just so they can get thier next fix.
I’ve seen gangs of them circle women as they get off the bus and ask for money and intimmated people who just happen to get off the bus on the way to work.
I often go out there and tell them to feck off some where else. so i’m sorry i really aint got a lot of time for them.
But i’m more than happy to help those who are willing to help themselves.23 August, 2008 at 7:02 pm #365919Anyone at all gonna spend it on themselves ?
23 August, 2008 at 7:03 pm #365920Would paying miss Iceland(and i dont mean that lard ar2e kerry bird) to suck chocolate off my toes count ?
23 August, 2008 at 7:04 pm #365921but of course :P
23 August, 2008 at 7:16 pm #365922Famly aside, I wouldn’t give anyone anything – big house, big gates, big ‘f**k off’ sign directed at all those ‘Could you spare me a couple of minutes of your time’ timewasters, loads of land and trespassers shot on sight :D

My lil sister is handicapped down her left side, and suffered epilepsy for many years, and isnt as clever as the rest of us “normal” people think we are.
She has been taken for a ride by a boy who has some special needs, but not to the same degree as her to the tune of over £1000. Mum and dad have sorted that out, but she loves this waste of space and he has overtook her every waking moment.
She keeps attempting suicide, and has pleaded with doctors for help, yet they offer her nothing.
Deep down she just wants what she sees the rest of us having…. a bit of love, and if I could buy that Id give her all the money in the world.
Life is unfair at times… it was tough enough for her through her early years, we nearly lost her when she was born… she was taunted for years for wearing special metal calipers down her legs in order to try and straighten her feet out. Poor kid has deffo had it tough.
Sharon, not only are you one of the most open and honest people I have met but ur compassion also shines through, and yer bluddy gawjuss ya cow lol …… sharon you said something on here the other night to me and tonite and it is my pleasure to return the compliment……. RESPECT Sharon!! xxx
