Sitting on a deckchair on a Maldivian island, in the shade of a palm tree with the ripples of the Indian Ocean tickling my toes, book in one hand, long cold drink in the other…no cars, no tv, no radio…a real no news no shoes type of place where time doesn’t matter and the rest of the world doesn’t exist.
Sitting in my garden in the shade of the oak tree with a book and a long cold drink, watching my cat trying to catch grasshoppers, succeeding then lifting a paw only for it to hop away again.
There seems to be a sitting theme…

Because we all enjoy our peaceful moments when we can sit and reflect, enjoy, and take in all of our surroundings :)

For me………….6’oclock with a g&t and hearing absolutely nothing! :D
I was at my mate’s last week. I got there about 1pm, left about 6.30pm and inbetween the four of us who were there just chatted, ate food and drank cold drinks. We sat outside under a parasol (it was warm) and laughed. It was and is great to be around people like that.

Ski-ing on fresh snow … hearing it crunch under your skis
A meal out with the family …. all the jokes, teasing, stories, one-liners … and good food & drink too
paddling in this pond………..did it countless times as a child and do it as an adult whenever i can…………perfect :D
Looking out my living room window, when the snow has just fallen. watching the snow covered mountains and listening to the silence.
Driving through Donegal on a sunny day and watching the sun change the land to different shades of green.
