They are all tarts in Bakewell, so I would stay well away. If I were you I would dress up for the night (best bib and tucker) and come on here as a sophisticated gent. You are bound to impress the girls….well it works for Pikey!
It’s not only the chapettes, SPOCOS, I’ve been known to send a few men off the straight and narrow. :D
17 June, 2006 at 12:42 am #226404I’ve camped in the Manifold Valley and tickled trout and been served in the posh pub wearing my scruffy clothes before the smartly dreesed people got served! 8)
Matlock rocks and Ashbourne has the best ginger-bread.
You’re a lucky man soulie!

As for a great camping spot. I know somewhere, not far from where I live, it’s awesome. One problem though. It’s not exactly cheap (well, it is for me but not for you guys). You’ll have to come to Australia. But, hey, I’ll put you all up if it rains.

19 June, 2006 at 2:31 am #226411just back now.. weekened did’nt go to plan what so ever we just made it up as we went along.. york camp site full.. so decided to drive down to the north wales coast, ended up in carnarthon (not spelt anything like that) it was about 7pm by the time we found a camp site, i thought there would be loads
so tent got put up.. then the grump cow at the camp site told us we had to move our tents as they were only 4 and a half metres away from each others… and they had to be 6
had a bit bust up.. so ended up moving tent then buggering off into town, and its loverly.. love the welsh accent, met a girl.. she was a great laugh, she is the presenter of a very popurlar welsh radio station, interviewing charlotte church this week she is, i asked her to pass on my number :)
so a great night out in wales, really enjoyed it.. woke up this morning at 11.30am.. beer in hand, phone in the other… then mr nasty came out and had another go at us, because we need to leave by 11am.. though the campsite was empty, she insisted that we had 5 mins to pack up and go.. so i thought fu*ck it,.. and drove to middlesborugh for the live music festival, was great… northern runner i think they were called… were fantastic, watch out for them, ocean colour scene though, i have to admit it were poor, they seemed to have half an eye on the pub, and all the trouble around, must have been about 3 or 4 fights around were i was standing… some folk just can’t take there beer
met up with a few mates, had a couple of shandys.. and at 1am, drove home.. work in the morning…
i got a date tommorow also, not with the welsh girl.. but a nice english girl i met last week :) hopefully this one won’t come down with kidney infection 12 hours before hand
