I think that a lot of the time the links that are added to the posts probably reflect the opinion of the poster……..how often will someone post a link that they don’t agree with?…….not very often!…….so, if you have a different opinion quite often it’s easier to turn away because things can turn from a healthy debate to abuse relatively quickly….
……….on a personal level I glance over the threads but tbh there’s not much that interests me in this section at the moment.

People who might have opinions to share just can’t be bothered because they’ll only get personally put down by you, or gazlan, or thin ice……..etc.
And this is why said characters are anethema to a healthy message board. It’s not as if any of you have anything original to contribute at the best of times.
You cannot engage in discussion with those who continually resort to personal insult and will not keep to the subject matter (read this thread for instance), and therefore members with something to say are put off from replying.
More the case that you and other clowns here seem to want to post your usual guff and then cry when asked to support it? Isn’t it just so ?

Ok .. perhaps not a debate as such, but a discussion perhaps? What draws us all to this forum .. the JC arena .. ?
Is it boredom? Loneliness? Socialising?
Do we balance the surreal with reality in equal measures, or do we sometimes rely on this hidden little world and hide behind our screens?
I can opine with the best of them (and sometimes the worst) … and I have my favourites. Yet I still retain human decency and consideration, which is sadly often lacking in both the boards section and in the chatroom itself.
Who would care to offer their own motivations for being here? Who would dare to be entirely honest? I spend much of my time online deliberating … but so far, the good far outweighs the bad. Yet, is it replacing an element of my life that I should seek elsewhere?

It is strange how neither you and Will post for ages and each time come back at the same time, often back slapping each other then vanish. It was someone else who said you was one of the same and since then i have noticed this.
So yeah, you are either the same person or Tinkerbell is some freaky stalker. You decide.
