Flicking through the local paper yesterday, looking for a new job came across not one but two adverts stating.
Uniform and training
Yeah thats gonna entice me to apply that is, What your actually gonna train me to do the job? Brilliant idea! I should ring up and arange an interview and turnup stark naked, sit down…and when they ask me why I’ver applied say “Obviously the free uniform, cause I avn’t got any clothes of my own” Why don’t they just go the whole hog and state
Uniform, Training and free oxygen allday.

23 September, 2005 at 11:24 am #140703Uniform and training usually equates to them paying national minimum wage…………..therefore hoping they can attract unemployed people and therefore thinking that a uniform will make unemployed people attracted to the job as they see it as a perk

23 September, 2005 at 11:34 am #140705Kind of figured it would be minimum wage….they did appear to be scraping the bottom of the barrell with their attractive offers:)
Put my back out at WORK a couple of weeks ago and I get paid monthly, recieved my pay check yesterday with no sick pay on it:( Yet they insisted I submit a note off the doctor, why? Being a family man with 4 kids every penny is accounted for each month, left me in a right pickle I can tell you, hardly seems faitr does it?
Got a solicitor coming to see me next wednesday about it, his company is situated in Leeds, he seems to think I may have a claim, hate having to do that, I feel a right compensation waster:( You’ll see my on an advert in a couple of months……….talking very wooden at the camera and reinacting my injury:)……….I recieved 10 thousand pounds………….and I now have a job which gave me this nice clean uniform and offered training.
(Camera cuts to me working behind the counter in Mcdonalds)
“Do you want fries with that?”

23 September, 2005 at 12:02 pm #140709You should see the JC work uniforms. They are smart, conservative and wholly appropriate.
PB always flaunts the uniform rules though by wearing his bloody pink dress.
