i spent the polices money on dope!

bit of a odd one this I think it was about 1997 id scored some really good weed and was enjoying a summers morning walk along the footpath to the town center everything seemed groovy but little did I know what was around the corner! I was ambling along towards sports direct in my own little world two guys in suits locked eyes on me then smiled at each other then made a beeline for me this wasn’t the give us a fag brigade or the shoplifters I tend to bump into down town I started going for my pockets nervously the games up I thought the 1st cop flashed his card its ok mate he chuckled want to earn 15 pounds ? cop no2 eyes were burning a hole in my pocket I knew my answer could be vital whats it doing I enquired? well we need people of your description for a id parade its 2 minutes from here be there a hour tops he said I knew sooner or later my good looks would bring the money in ok I said to my new friends ill follow you ten paces behind of course this was starting to feel like a spy movie! we got to the doorway of the entrance its a different entrance to the police station for id parades anyway one guy I recognised him from the local begging community ran out I’m going to buy a bic razor he said to the cops but ill be back anyway they took me in and I looked around the room and thought jesus Christ what have I got myself into it then the beggar burst back in with a cut face that ok mate he said to the cop anyway we were briefed told what to do one thing worried me not only did we all look alike we basicailly all looked like scumbags If I was the cop id say mate pick any! the selection process was overi was not selected and  I was on my merry way to buy a eighth of blow on the bus with the cops money what a day
