So what’s the problem then? All the money made will go straight into the find Maddie campaign.
Or the police could just beat the mother until she tells them where Maddie is. That’ll be quicker & much cheaper. They already know where Maddie is, so instead of wasting money, why don’t they just tell the police and do a 2 year sentence for involuntary manslaughter?
Because without a body there’s no case. The mother is doing nothing but dragging it out hoping eventually it’ll all go away.
She can escape Earthly justice but she sure is going to burn in hell.
I think it’s you and your kind that’ll burn in hell for adding to these peoples misery.
Fair enough, they made a huge mistake, which they’ll pay for for the rest of their lives. Some of the comments I’ve seen directed towards them though has really made me sick.
Mistake! a mistake is when you forget to turn the oven off, a mistake is when you forget to get what you wanted in the supermarket, a mistake is when you mistake someone for someone else, or didn’t you bother ro read the meanings that i’d posted for you.A mistake isn’t leaving your children, 3 of them all under the age of 4, alone, in an unlocked apartment, thats not a mistake, thats a deliberate selfish act, and the person who paid the ultimate price is Maddie herself.

I agree with cas. Kate and Gerry McCann were truly at fault, leaving three children so young unattended for any amount of time is not a mistake. Somebody of their age and their class should have known better.
Now Madeline has paid the price. If I was social services I would be considering looking into the welfare of the remaining children, before they get left alone as well.
I also read in the paper this morning that people are advertising ‘maddie’ lookalikes, now if this is true – that is what is sick.11 January, 2008 at 5:36 pm #302117it would seem that it is true, and you are right it is sick. this poor tot will have to live her entire life being called the madelaine lookalike. her parents should hang their heads in shame for this. if they were using the child to do a reconstruction to help the case, then yes , there’s a reason. but why for entertainment ? thats just plain wrong.
and i for one think anyone who pays to see a film about this poor child needs their bumps felt.11 January, 2008 at 5:42 pm #302118I must admitt.. Its all very weird, for a couple who`s lost their daughter..Its being going
on for so long now, Im not sure what too beleive anymore!!11 January, 2008 at 5:55 pm #302119It might sound horrible, but they look as if they couldnt care less. Is it just me that thinks they seem to show no emotion? If I had lost one of my three kids – I think I would look just alittle upset…

It it was me foxy, I,d be in a mental institution by now, not visiting the flamin pope or discussing maddie the movie.
11 January, 2008 at 6:05 pm #302122Just read the link,,,,,,,,,sick!
The mother of the lookalike child saying her daughter has formed a bond with the missing girl because of the likeness,,,,,,could only happen in america!

Me too! In fact I dont think I’d want to carry on living if I lost one of my three – they mean the world to me. Movies would be the last thing on my mind. I understand funds need to be raised, but surely there must be a limit before it starts to get out of hand. I feel sorry for madeline I really do, but not for them. I think they see it as a career move or something, I cant explain their actions any other way.

I won’t burn in hell. I’m not the one who accidentally killed my own child, and then hid the body and lied for months and months pretending I didn’t do it.
