so if Ben Needham’s mother accepted funds by way of a documentary to continue the search, even now, would she also get slaughtered ?

Or is it generally accepted that the McCanns’ represent the face of true evil instead of just being parents who made one tragic mistake ? (as if we’re all such perfect parents who have never averted our eyes for even a minute – and god forbid that can be all it takes)

That child’s in heaven now but there is also a sickness in many peoples hearts here.

Only bad manners and rubyred make any kind of sense to me on this thread.

There’s no such thing as a perfect parent, we all make mistakes.

Most of us don’t though,,,,go out,,,leaving 3 BABIES!! alone……It’s not like they couldn’t afford the baby sitting service is it, theyre both doctors, hardly struggling!

But no,,,,,,,they chose to leave their 3 babies alone while they went out to enjoy themselves, shame on them!

And the reason I mentioned Bens mother was to point out that even after all these years, she still have the face of a mother suffering real grief! whereas Mrs McCann should perhaps find a dictionary and look up the word greif. She’s a hard faced biatch!

Leaving your 3 kids, under the age of 4, ALONE in an UNLOCKED apartment, so they could go out and enjoy a nice cosy little meal and few bottles of cheap wine with their mates, isn,t a mistake, it,s NEGLIGENCE. And the one who has paid the ultimate price for that is maddie. I,ll say it again, the McCanns arnt, fit to raise animals, let alone kids, and they should be charged with GROSS neglience and have their remaining two children taken away from them and be struck off the medical register.

Negligence is a legal concept usually used to achieve compensation for injuries (not accidents). Negligence is a type of tort or delict and a civil wrong, but it can also be used in criminal law. Negligence means conduct that is culpable because it misses the legal standard required of a reasonable person in protecting individuals against foreseeably risky, harmful acts of other members of society. Negligent behavior towards others gives them rights to be compensated for the harm to their body, property, mental well-being, financial status, or relationships. Negligence is used in comparison to acts or omissions which are intentional or willful. The law of negligence at common law is one aspect of the law of liability. Although resulting damages must be proved in order to recover compensation in a negligence action, the nature and extent of those damages are not the primary focus of this discussion.

Just to clarify the difference for you BM between a mistake and negligence!!!

These people didn’t MISTAKENLY leave their children alone, they didn’t ACCIDENTELY forget them, the DELIBERATELY left them alone so that they could go out for the evening and enjoy a meal and a drink with their freinds in peace. If it was peace they wanted then don’t have kids! I hope they never find peace, it’s a sure fired certainty that Maddie didn’t.

You can shoot me down in flames all you want, call me heartless, but I do still agree with Bat, that the remaining children should be taken away from them for their own safety and they should be charged with negligence, at the very least, which would no doubt automatically lead to them both being struck off!

Most reasonably minded people know that had this been anyone else, here in this country, these steps would have been taken as a matter of course,,,,,,,,why not them, what makes them so special that they’ve gotten away with it.

you say there is a sickness in peoples hearts here, and in part i agree with you. the mcanns have lost a child however it happened but the facts are that these two well educated, experienced doctors, who are seen by many as leaders in society. went out with their friends for HOURS not minutes, leaving two little babies and a 4 year old to fend for themselves. ???? this isnt a nip to the corner shop for milk, this isnt popping next door for ten minutes for a catch up on gossip with the door open so you can hear the kids. this is getting showered getting dressed putting on make up chatting about the friends youre going out to meet, deciding what handbag to take with which outfit.
AND THEN CLOSING THE DOOR BEHIND YOU LEAVING 3 CHILDREN in a foreign country. in an apartment that you know, someone tried to get into two weeks previously.
losing a child is a terrible price to pay for this as we all agree im sure. but the mcanns deliberaleley put their social life, a night out with their friends, while leaving 3 tiny tots home alone. the cost of a babysitter 20.00 was too much to pay for these pair? and thats the value they have put on their childrens lives. if a madman had got in and butchered all 3 children what then ? would we still be raising funds for them, ? i cannot however hard i try put credence to these two selfish arrogant halfwits for leaving their children. they are to blame, and they will have to live with the blame [personally i donyt think they killed the child] but they are just as culpable as the person who took her in my eyes. and in the eyes of the law here in britain. if the mcanns were to have done this in england they would have been in jail for this and their remaining, children would be in care now. and the only reason they arent is because they are doctors with social standing and money in the bank. the rank double standards meted out to this pair are glaringly unfair to anyone who has children,i cannot understand why any mother or father who loves thir children, can even consider doing sutch a rediculous thing as this.
ben needhams mum is still searching for her boy, she had him taken from her in broad daylight , she turned her back for a second and he was gone. she is still to this day blaming herself. [and she shouldnt] she didnt go out for the night leaving the door open, and expect him to be ok. the mcanns did. theres a big difference here.im sorry to keep saying it but its the truth. every time i see kate mcann holding the little teddy that was maddies i cant help but see red, i know we all make mistakes with our kids, i have done. my daughter managed to drink turpentine when she was a toddler, she ws just too quick to stop. im guilty for that , shes 18 now and i still feel guilty. thats a bit different to having a night out with my mates while leaving her in the house alone… get it ? please?

So what’s the problem then? All the money made will go straight into the find Maddie campaign.

Or the police could just beat the mother until she tells them where Maddie is. That’ll be quicker & much cheaper.

They already know where Maddie is, so instead of wasting money, why don’t they just tell the police and do a 2 year sentence for involuntary manslaughter?

Because without a body there’s no case. The mother is doing nothing but dragging it out hoping eventually it’ll all go away.

She can escape Earthly justice but she sure is going to burn in hell.

I think it’s you and your kind that’ll burn in hell for adding to these peoples misery.

Fair enough, they made a huge mistake, which they’ll pay for for the rest of their lives. Some of the comments I’ve seen directed towards them though has really made me sick.
