My apologies if this has been covered already:
- Is there a way to search for members based on any given criteria? If so, how?
- Is there a way to search the forums for a given topic? If so, how?
I put my sex as male to keep away the pervs. I do this expecting a search feature where people might be able to view or sort users by sex. Is this possible ?
Also, I want to post things.. and spend lots of time trying to peruse the forums to see if it’s been asked before.. but then I get sidetracked and never post my original message…

I’ve restructured the navigation menus to make it easier to do the things you’ve mentioned.
You can now search for members by hovering over ‘Our members’ in the navigation bar, then clicking ‘Member search’.
Alternatively, you can just click on ‘Our members’ then on the member directory page, click the Hide/Show search form button.
I’ve limited the search options for the time being since the vast majority of our members haven’t filled out profile information since such data wasn’t collected before we upgraded Just Chat to WordPress.
To search the forums, you can hover over ‘Message boards’ in the navigation bar, then click ‘Search the boards’.
Alternatively, you can use the search bar that appears at the top of the page on the message boards index.
That’s great! I used that function. I might join officially in the next couple of months. Does it automatically renew or can I determine when and how? I have already tried it out! Thanks!

If I do, can I restrict from coming up on a search based on sex (i.e. male or female? or privatize so only paying members can search for me or anything?Also, is the price in USD about $70 a year or so?
VIP membership renews automatically until you cancel. To cancel, you just email me.
Yes, you can use PayPal. If you use PayPal you can even cancel the subscription through your PayPal account and avoid having to email me with your request ;)
VIP membership has no effect on how you appear in searches made on the site. Full privacy controls are available to all members via the Account Settings menu.
I believe that £4.99 per month works out to about $6.20 per month with the current exchange rate. The way the Pound is dropping against the dollar it’ll probably get cheaper over time for those paying with dollars.
