Webb wasn’t refereeing the Manchester Utd v Tottenham game which meant that United weren’t guaranteed any penalties today. And they weren’t going to get the customary 10 minutes of time added on that they normally get when they’re losing.

.Alex Ferguson felt that Utd’s game today should have had more time added on at the end. And I’m not making this up. From the BBC website;
Sir Alex Ferguson after United’s 3-2 defeat by Spurs: “Four minutes of added time is an insult to the game. It’s a disgrace.”
No penalties – Ashley Young wasn’t playing so there was no need for the penalty boxes to be made into swimming pools.
