Not sure if anyone remembers my topic some months ago at Easter about my family’s drag race car which my brother drives. Well the championships are now over and here are the results:
We came second overall out of 30 cars in the Super gas national championships. (major achievement as ours is not as electronically on the same level as some)
First in the Santa pod racers club championship (just at the one track)
First in the VW alternate engine championship class. Only 8 cars in this one but still, he holds onto top spot. (corrado body shell, V8 big block chevy engine)

i like drag racing (the cars that is although drag artist athletics would be humourous)

It goes 9 seconds over the quater mile at 145mph
The big dragsters take the quarter in 4.80 seconds at 300 mph +
Yes we have been to the states, not with the car but we go and watch a lot. They do have faster cars and are much more professional, but still…

well you miserable lot!!! You could have posted well done and all that…………jeeze, you do when ppl post pics of them selfs………does this, actually doing something, albiet not to your taste, warrant it??? If not, apologies, the gins out :lol: :lol:
