What a lovely morning it is, the sun is out and the birds are singing and my site of choice, the Guardian, is eating humble pie to a man and a woman. Well done JC, well done labour, well done to all who got off their arses and voted.
Not to vote wasn’t an option !
Thinks Mrs May got a bit of a kick up the jacksie – Very nearly blew up in her face (there’s still time) I don’t have an issue with her quite admire her BUT another coalition ?
Hardly the result she expected I dare say.
The news that made my day was that yellow belly Nick Clegg losing his seat – teach him to sell his own party out won’t it.
Well done to all the young’uns though for voting – highest ever turn out for the 18 -25 age group.

Somer is in total denial.
May called an election in the confident hope of a landslide to give her authority in a hard Brexit
Somer yesterday was scorning Labour supporters for opposing May, and exulting in the promised landslide, offering to shake my hand in exultation (my hand is still extended – but no Somer’s hand?).
Tory strategists agreed with Somer and were also in total denial until the reality can no longer be denied.
Corbyn’s Labour increased its vote from 29% (28% under Brown) to nearly 41 %, and is now strongly established as Labour leader
May has lost her majority and will almost certainly have to give up on a hard Brexit.
A very severe defeat for May under any definition.
Good – I am more pleased with the election yesterday than any other in my lifetime.

10 June, 2017 at 7:30 am #1051203Theresa May warned throughout the campaign of a coalition depending on terrorists. The one thing she forgot to mention was that she would be at its head.
her days look more and more as though they won’t be long. A prize duffer – she starts with a 20 point lead against the most widely-mocked politician of modern times, and ends with having weakened the country on the eve of Brexit, the most important negotiations of modern times.
What a loser. What a mess.
