8 June, 2017 at 11:49 pm #1050787the most exciting election I’ve known, Ruby.
I’ll be staying up a little bit extra tonight.
Impossible to say what the final result will be, but has may been given a fright at the very least?
The BBC has joined the right-wing press in pouring scorn and hatred on Corbyn, but once people got to see him, they seem to have quite liked him.
I cannot believe these exit polls.
Or should I say, I dare not believe them.
A hung parliament was my dream possibility in this election.
*fingers crossed,, but there could still be a Tory majority.

9 June, 2017 at 6:19 am #1050842I did and proud of it. Now let’s have that vote on hunting with dogs as i have a red jacket I need to dust off.
A question if I may, have you always been a hunter?
Dusting off the red jacket was a joke lol lol
But i live in the countryside and used to hunt with a gun. As for hunting with dogs and horses, it was a great sight to watch but can never see it coming back as too many townies put there noses into country affairs.
9 June, 2017 at 6:22 am #1050844Hung Parliament, But at least theres no Corbyn in number 10. Going to be a hard 5yrs !!!
9 June, 2017 at 7:37 am #1050852It’s going to be an odd time – not sure bout it being 5 years.
To m,e the prospect of a nasty and mean and right-wing Tory Britain has been lifted – at least for a while.
Young people have figured out how the system works – tactical voting, and being bothered to vote. Many would have voted Remain, but were too lazy and regretted it. Now it’s their revenge.
For others, it was just a distrust of what the Tories were planning for social care, education, health, pensions.
Britain is a more balanced country than the right-wingers who took control last summer bargain for. It’s not a left-wing country, but the left wing aren’t tiny and need to be taken into account. I think for the BBC, with it’s Blairite complacency, it’s been a big wake-up call.
Will May survive?
Will Somer shake my hand??
Will JC cease to be nasty and offensive???
9 June, 2017 at 7:40 am #1050854That’s me home from a mega early Appointment in town. Treated myself to a Jeremy Corbyn Tee shirt. and put me vote labour posters up on window. what an agitator.. hehe. I shall wear it, win or lose. Viva !
Well that’s you looking like a complete tit isn’t it …..
well that’s you looking like a complete tit isn’t it, Observer?
Stop being so offensive and start thinking a bit.
9 June, 2017 at 8:33 am #1050866What a lovely morning it is, the sun is out and the birds are singing and my site of choice, the Guardian, is eating humble pie to a man and a woman.
Well done JC, well done labour, well done to all who got off their arses and voted.
