“They all talk shyte!” Love the statement. If I used it here in a written statement comments would be made I can not spell by reporters. Would not be a good leader. Our word is spelt shit…..hee hee, ha ha…. I truly laughed here. Politicians always use excuses and stupid ones at that. I provided an example from some reporters I know here with media….would jump on to find excuse with the wrong spelling of a word.. Person not well educated, do not vote for them.

It is spelt shit here too but it’s a way we have become used to typing here as in the past most swear words were censored lol. Old habits die hard I guess. Some people might say I am uneducated but hey … in truth what do they know? ;-)

in the auld days I think shit was fudge or summat but we are all in our fifties now.

I fear a Tory victory, possibly a sizeable one,

    but

thanks to Jeremy Corbyn’s fantastic campaign,

the landslide for May predicted at the beginning of the campaign now looks unlikley

    I hope

Locally My MP is great and looks likely to win

    I hope

Looking forward to sceps eating his words over the blue landslide and then shaking my hand. Sceps he gotta go or he splits the party for good.

Another two weeks and the result may well have been different. The tories spent 10 times more than labour. £250,000 a week online. Two years of negative press about Corbyn in the liberal media, including from within the liberal PLP ensured that mud stuck, even if it was false. (not even counting the right wing dominated press).

Even so, the bigger picture, 5 more years of the tory austerity. A labour party that can no longer present the likes of Liz Kendal as “progressives” and a watered down alternative to the tories. The future bodes well for the left, despite what is coming over the next five years, for the left of labour and the left in general.

Right wing propaganda over the next five years will be that the economy isn’t growing at the rate it should etc because of Brexit, whatever is “negotiated” with the EU. It won’t work this time. May will be exposed for what she is. Thatcher in kitten heels and if the tory majority is similar to what it was, May is finished anyway.

    Keep the faith!

I can make some more predictions, your children if they are 18 now and if they don’t follow in your footsteps, will leave university with 60k+ debt. They will not be able to afford to get on the housing ladder in any major urban city and if you happen to own your own home now, worked hard all your life to pay for it and dutifully paid your tax, upon your death it will be stolen from you by the state to pay for any care they may have provided during your latter years of life.
