So……….how much of your tax would you like to go towards paying Mark Bridger’s prison keep now he’s been found guilty of April’s murder ?
Me personally, i’d rather see him hang…….now I wouldn’t mind paying for that.

i dont mean to boast,but i have an inkling i am considerably richer than you lot

so tinks i would be more than happy to “chuck in a few quid”.I dont agree with capital punishment but tell you what… I would forgo my principles and throw in a few quid to see him hang….
I have a friend who goes a step further she said give her a gun and she would happily pull the trigger…. she means it too.

I keep posting on this thread, and then deleting. I never know what to say in such a horrible case – and these horrible cases seem to happen on a yearly basis, don’t they?
I support the death penalty, but on a very limited basis, and I’m not sure this would be included – the vileness of the man isn’t sufficient. It would have been better for him, and for us all, that he would never have been born and I can’t imagine the rest of his life will be worth living.
He seems to have been a hunting man, rifle and all. He was obviously looking for game which would bring him great fun, and he found it in a small girl suffering from a hole in the heart and other problems from birth. April seems to have been a bonny wee fighter – her ma said that she fought to come into the world, and fought to stay in it. What an end she suffered, and he seems to have successfully burned the body. I believe that turning him over to the local community for a frank and free chat may well lead to his revealing the truth, but who knows?
We just feel helpless in the end, echoing the last words of Kurtz in the Conrad novel Heart of Darkness – ‘the horror! the horror!’
I think death is too easy for monsters like that, i say stick him in a hole and only feed him the bear minimum to keep him alive.
Anything else is just to good for him.
some prisoner recently slit the guy’s throat – fortunately, he survived.
I do hope the prison guards will maintain their current discipline over affairs..

I like a lot of people find any crime against a child abhorrent. i beleive that if anyone is guilty of child abuse it should be one strike and your’e out forever. the european court dont help saying that no matter what anyones done they should have ‘hope’ of getting out of prison. to my mind, what of the family’s hope? i know and i can categorically say without any shadow of a doubt should anyone have taken one of my girls lives or hurt them then i would do everything within my power to make them pay.
I dont beleive anyone has the right to hurt/injure/kill anyone least of all kids and anyone who looks at child porn is as bad as those who doing unthinkable things to the children being photgraphed.
of course i could go on , emotion taking over rationality or compassion but as far as im concerned no one who takes a child and does whate ver to them ending their short lives should be shown any compassion. i beleive that abused children do not always turn out to be abusers as parents , although sadly some do.
think thats nuff now but he should be locked up and the key thrown away !!
