First of all – if you get a mortgage in YOUR name – no girlfriend is entitled to half of your house. (That’s whey when OH and I bought our house, I made sure my name was on the deeds lol)
This isn’t quite true hun. The legal ownership of a house (having your sole name on the title deeds) does NOT prevent a partner making a claim on you for a share of this asset. If the partner lived with you for a period of time and if they made a material contribution towards the asset (by paying bills for example), then when the relationship breaks up they could be entitled to make a claim.
Of course married couples that split have an entitlement by virtue of the marriage as well as by virtue of any contribution. But don’t run away with the idea that your home is protected from a claim just because it is in your sole name.
So Matty, the moral of the story is …. beware of predatory women. First they will drain you of all your vital bodily juices. Then they will drain your bank account. Finally they will try to get their greedy little claws on your home.
If you can’t stick with celibacy then try prostitutes. The only difference is that with prostitutes you pay in advance ….. and you do your own cooking.

Matty’s birds never seem to last more than a fortnight so I cant see it becoming a problem for him. Mind you…. it wouldnt suprise me if he was stupid enough to marry her after the first week… :mrgreen:

i’d happily pay u matty to take my son in. his bedroom is like a tarts boudoir at weekends. :evil: i keep bribin him to move out so i can shift my littleun into his room an have the smallest room as a computer room. i;ll even help him pack.especially his collection of beer mats and thongs. :shock:
