Can we see if we can start this thread up again please
No time wasters please6 October, 2008 at 9:37 am #378792I met mine in a club, he tripped I laughed, he invited me and my friend to join him at the next club which didn’t close until 6 am, we exchanged numbers, I didn’t have much recollection of the night before and couldn’t quite match the face to the number in my phone
I was at my friends the next evening with a terrible hangover and he rang.
We went out on a few dates, the decided neither of us where ready for a relationship, he then rang a few weeks later saying he couldn’t leave it like this.
And like I said before the rest is history and no of your business. 8)

6 October, 2008 at 10:02 am #378795I always think at the start of a relationship that this one is the love of my life.
A friend at work rang me this morning to tell me she’d been talking to one of them
I thought the sun shone out of his bum
till I found the letter from Carol
saying that they would have to stop meeting because it wasn’t fair to me!!
He married her in the end (at least he cheated on me with someone he later thought enough of to make an honest woman of)
He was a great bloke till drunkWe still think a lot of each other
we make great friends
Love him to bits
I even got invited to the wedding6 October, 2008 at 10:08 am #378796It’s easy to think the honeymoon period of a relationship is how it will remain. I am just myself from the begining now, it makes it easier, no pretense just plain ole me with bad moods and a tendancy to burp and fart loudly.
If the person can accept you for all your faults from the off set then that person will forever and a day.
6 October, 2008 at 10:16 am #378797Maybe it was my habit of burping and farting that drove him into the arms of another woman

So we’re out for a meal in a posh restaurant and you fart loudly.
I don’t think I’d be impressed with that to be honest.I think the secret of a lasting relationship is neverto take your partner for granted.
6 October, 2008 at 10:31 am #378799Not in public, that would be taking it too far for me, but my friend did the said thing and she has been with her partner for 12 years, personally if I dropped one in public I would expect my partner to take the blame.
Anyway, I was using my burping and farting as an example, obviously other things do come into it.
6 October, 2008 at 10:50 am #378800I met the love of my life the first time I looked in the mirror
