post here for any ideas
the travelodge in newcastle is all booked up for may
but the one in gateshead is still free, if there is a few of us.. taxi fair would’nt be much as its only the other side of the water
or there is the jurys in, i stayed here last time, very nice hotel, and you probably can get a twin for about £60 per night, which could be cheaper then the travelodge anyway, if you book through hotel connect
i’ll have a look later, but if anyone finds anything else more suitable, post it here, the quicker we book the better
25 March, 2006 at 12:43 pm #206359The premier travel inn is cheap as well. Its like Travelodge. I stayed there last time, it was not too bad.
25 March, 2006 at 12:51 pm #206360fraid thats all booked up too.. twin rooms at tulip are £90
another option, is to stay in jesmond, they have many b & bs for about £25 a night
its about a 5 mins drive into newcastle

25 March, 2006 at 1:00 pm #206363its £18 for a single to newcastle from cambridge
and £18 for a single from cambridge to newcastle
don’t book returns, they rip you off
25 March, 2006 at 1:02 pm #206364Yer joking? I paid 74 quid last time…it must have gone up, not down!

25 March, 2006 at 2:06 pm #206365CAMBRIDGE STATION
PETERBOROUGH GNER
YORK
NEWCASTLEGNER STD ADVANCE2
£18
and same for the return
reason you paid £76 last time was probably because you booked an open return, if you make an advanced booking, by buying two singles.. its £18 each
i nearly made the same mistake going to birmingham recently, would have cost me £50 return, but instead bought 2 singles at £9 each
if you ring them up, they will advise you, or you can book online
25 March, 2006 at 2:24 pm #206366those of you coming from anywhere near
aberdeen
dundee

not sure where people are coming from, but its nice and cheap if you live in any of the locations
25 March, 2006 at 3:17 pm #206367cheap n cheerful works for me. Don’t care who I share with or where I sleep lol, I aint that fussy  Bring sleeping bags and we’ll all crash in one room, hehe, how funny would that be. Think I’ll prob be sharing with Sian – f/ck help me lol
Rubies, the offer of lift is still there… infact would prob be better as long drive myself lol… dont fancy train as I’m not sure I would get on the right one again when I need to change at Carlisle lol
