not sure yet but def fancy something.

Mavis… why dont you go to the wigwams at Loch Lomond, mega cheap and are heated with all the mod cons etc, good for family etc. I went with group of pals few years back and it was fab. Either that or collect the sun coupons and off ya go to Butlins at Ayr pml

Sian got me thinkin with the thread on Norfolk broads…

what holidays have you got lined up for this year..??

Lordy knows what we’re goin to do… as goin abroad is going to cost 10 arms n legs… as it will be Mr Wolfie… Me…. My 7yrold.. MW’s 7yrold n 5yrold… plus our ‘ wee barra’… so thats 6… last yr we went up to Aviemore and hired a people carrier… ended up for a wk f o okin well over £1400….

so if anyone has some great ideas… plz do share…

Sian id love to do the Norfolk Broads again..

Abroad doesn’t have to cost a remortgage- we took the 3 kids to Denmark last August- flights for all, accomodation for 5 days n car hire was less than £600 in total. Shop around on the net, book the flights direct with the low cost airlines, google for accomodation and then haggle the price.

Depends on what you want and what you’re used to of course but the kids loved it (I would really recommend the Jutland region of Denmark for its beaches, cheap campsites, stunning countryside and really friendly people)

Even though next week we’ll too have a “wee barra” to add to our collection, we are now looking at Denmark again this August, it works out at no more than it does to stay in the UK for a week and the kids want to go back- it’s less than 2 hours flight time too!

Me and my bf are off to portugal in june. We’re thinking about going to egypt next year as well, ive been before, when I went to cyprus we went on like a cruise over there and I wouldn’t recommend going in August as it was red hot ( over 50 degrees ) the best time of year to go is autumn or spring and dont stay in cairo its not a nice place. I’d always say book online, we saved over 700 on our holiday just for booking online and theres often better deals as well

    Good advice. 8)
Cairo is a one or two day trip. Pyramids, City of The Dead
    and museums. (pickpockets abound)
Luxor is a great place with lots to see. Some good places in the south,
but I never made it down there.
Buy the Lonely Planet Guide to Egypt before ytou go, be prepared to be
approached by friendly but persistent Egyptians every 10 feet and try to
    keep a smile.
Don’t pay more than half the asking price, aim for a quarter and settle
    for a third.

It’s lucky that your preferred drink is water then.
You’ll need a bank loan to get drunk in Sweden! 8-[
