My mouse cursor pointer thing is flashing like its a strobe light. Its getting rather annoying and worrying!

    Any ideas?

(its when i move the mouse, when i do not move it its not visible)

Google and I are having some difficulty resolving your problem.
I suggest you do a System Restore to a time when your cursor
    was behaving normally.

    No thats “chavs are us”

Only buy from Argos when you cant shop anywhere else, and you want it to fall apart.

i bought a desk from argos once, it never fell apart, but it never got put together also, gave up after 3 hours of scratching my head, ikea is what you need, it all fits together

anyway, your strobe light, could just be your mouse playing up, i am guessing you have an optical one, my old one did the same, got to the stage where the mouse pointer had a mind of its own, and was un controllable

Nope its bog standard mouse type thing, came with the comp.

    Cleaned it as well.

    try this

control panel > mouse > pointers

    click the pointers tab,

change the scheme and maybe have a play about, see what you can find
