My hero ? Maybe you can expand on that first ?
In your own time son, i got all the time in the world 8)
19 December, 2010 at 3:17 am #456770Indeed. You were bred for humanity and sold to society. The only way you can withdraw from the contract is to move abroad and thus place yourself under a different jurisdiction.
This is reasonably sensible, though. Otherwise you could declare yourself independent and go around bothering people and being a generally bad egg all the time. Further, there are systems that operate that you benefit from simply by being under a jurisdiction. Defence, for example. There are people and machines that stand ready to try and stop any foreigners dropping nasty bangy things on your parsnips. Even if you declared you wanted nothing to do with the state, there would be no practical way of ensuring that you didn’t partake of the benefit.
A wise chap once said that no man is an island. Even if we grow all our own grub, who knits our jumpers and cobbles our shoes? Who refines the selenium to make our difference engines work properly? We can’t live without interacting with wider society, so why should we be able to exempt ourselves from society’s agreed rules?
19 December, 2010 at 4:42 am #456771I could also declare myself independent and go around living in peace and harmony with all other living creature, The key word is choice. The word society is very interesting; I consider a society to be a group of men, women, or indeed any group of living creatures that co-exist through Mutual-Consent… The point you make regarding defence and various other bodies like police and Judiciary and so on, does not justify being forcibly contracted and held accountable for any dissent from legislation put in place by legislators that have no similarity to me other than basic human characteristics.
The main point centred around the facts you have listed here, namely, you, me and every soul in this country born into it, has their natural rights taken over by Government with compulsory legislation. To then claim that we live in a democracy while denying men and women the right to withdraw is what I feel falls under the remit of dictatorship. Now whether this is “reasonably sensible” is entirely a matter of personal choice and persuasion. My view differs from yours obviously.
Nevertheless, good or bad we have NO choice, this is the point I made, so I thank you at least for your confirmation, please do pass it on, there seem to be some here short of this knowledge.19 December, 2010 at 5:54 am #456772gaz.. I said the same well Over a year ago.. its damm easy to drop out.. I have pals in Kings Cross in London, who welcome others into their commune o music etc..
I told ye.. yer signing on,, therfore accepeting the ” system”.. Ya have to be totally UN brainwashed to think ” free”.. Whilst you are relying on the State. you will never be free !
19 December, 2010 at 7:18 am #456773He does not want to drop out, he does not want to opt out. He is one more mouthy, free loader who expects everyone else to pay his way, in life. If he was to opt out, how is he going draw the dole, housing and other benefits. He up there with the great cowards of all time, all talk, no action. Not even talk, when it comes to him having to make the points. So why bother, with it.
19 December, 2010 at 1:31 pm #456774* Spread the word *
My point has been made and supported. Again, not a single one of you can prove otherwise. . . What i may claim i want makes no difference, it is what is factual that is important. :)
