Sorry – I got it wrong….
So to set the record straight… It’s not a link to some jumped up little twonk who’s trying to get out of paying council tax….
It’s a whole bunch of them….Calm down dear……its just a twonk :D
Twonks of the world unite and stamp your feet at the unfairness of having to pay to live in a civilised country. Unfair and unlawful…What is the world coming to eh….paying for services…where will it all end. On the expense tab perhaps..? 8)
Well, the coast seems clear so thought i would slip in and out quietly..
In terms of being an unlawful tax, the council felt it necassery to avoid the courts dealing with it. The recent scandal in our government regarding the expense claims, shows to me that people are paying and often struggling with families to pay this unlawfull tax. Any operation carried out in the interest of the public at large, must be congratulated.
Although your comments lead me to believe you are very honourable in terms of taxation and the like, my own view, in light of the recent greed from the politicians is, ” lead by example “. Perhaps if our government officers were to ” lead by example “, people in general, in my opinion, might willingly pay tax for services. Not only have they decievd the public with this scandal, they have called into question the integrity of our whole capitalist system. I for one, will support any action taken by any one to help establish fairness throughout our democracy.
I must say Amelia, i have never heard this word twonk before in my life …Maybe it will end in tears, lets hope its the tears of the truly guilty parties and not those who seek true justice in a system, established long before you or i were concived. The action of the council alone, suggests to me of being an evasive action. No doubt you will draw your own conclusion.
What a big gun you have SusieQ…….
