Indeed, however both NS and myself have had several dealings with the police in the past two years regarding some of the more serious trolling issues with certain chatters. Although most chatters naturally won’t believe that or believe that there are some on going investigations, I can assure you it’s true.

No Dixie but you are talking about a ” duty of care” by the owners of the site implying users are mentally disabled cabbages that will be swinging from a noose if someone doesn’t blow kisses at them every time they log on… where is the line drawn exactly?
Would you ban computers completely as the flashing screens may cause those who are prone to epilepsy to have a fit?
Would you ban pictures of slim women on the net incase someone morbidly obese feels so insecure they kill themselves?
Would you ban all murder films and horror films incase they are reenacted by viewers causing all kinds of carnage from the ” mentally ill”?
Why not just put us all into padded bedrooms with no interaction with the outside world incase someone is easily offended and kills themselves. The owners of the chatroom are not babysitters for the mentally ill… I’d love to know what constitutes abuse as it’s all subjective

IT GETS WORSE..
Hello everyone..I used to have some nice chats from time to time but then you would get the ones who Claimed to be happy married or happy in their relationship..It all starts off with false words of niceness then its the old lines of…Do you have a photograph, would you meet, then they would try to get personal.
As I reminded them that if they were happy at home then why would they wish to meet and want phone numbers ect…I alao pointed out that its not a dating site and one of the rules are that this site does not allow any sexual content.
I used too end such conversations.
The moral of the above is that it is so easy to ignore and end any conversation that you’re not happy about.

Again Angela…with all due respect…we all know you used to chat some time back…..and it seems like you were the perfect chatter…happily ending certain types of chats by explaining what the site isn’t….why did you stop chatting if you found it so easy to ignore and end a conversation?
Its all very well sitting there all laadidaa because you “don’t go in the room anymore” but again…you constantly seem to patronise people who do chat…there is nothing wrong with chatting if that’s what people want…and just because you don’t chat and others do does not mean your life is more fulfilled than others….chatters still have jobs…leave the house….and have real friends
