Why , when i was in the room just now chatting …….albeit not much ……. was i silenced?? :shock:
So logged out , tried again, and now i can’t get back in .
Ld …….. or whoever has decided to do this …… could you please at least , have the decency to tell me why?

There can be times when you see you have left the room but your name is still in there and it can take literally ages for your name to leave which is why at times you get almost duplicate names in where people have changed their name to get back in.
Another problem is where you have a fixed IP address and that can also block you if you try to get back in again. One of the problems the Chat guides have is that if there is a big argument happening in the room and they try to stop it they know that some people use software that allows them to change IP addresses so can bypass any bans.
I use a similar piece of software so that Helen and I can both chat at the same time because the chat program checks for duplicate IP addresses
It is a difficult dilemma for the Chat guides and at times I think they can only do wrong from trying to do right

The point i am making is .. i was chatting , having a laugh with a reg , and someone else in the room …….. and then i was sat watching for a while as i was tired , and thinking about going to bed.
IF i had done something wrong , more so something that warranted a Ban – i would accept it….Unfortunately … It would seem i have rankled a Host for some reason or other , and they haven’t the good grace to tell me why ……So have decided to just Ban me ……The power they have eh? To just Ban someone they don’t like :roll: :?

As a matter of interest are you told when you try to log in that you are banned?……..I don’t know.

No Tinks … I logged in and was told my user name was not permitted. So I am assuming by that, i am banned……..However , i added a little – on the end of my name , and was able to get in briefly yesterday morning.
I have not bothered trying since …….although i shall at some point …. I am just annoyed that NO ONE has given me any explanation ….. But then ……. typical Jc isn’t it :roll:
Chatters are often mentioning “the clique” in the room – at least it is now known, I am not in it :lol:
Wellll…. Interesting! I have been told in the room this morning , that my name was in there the other day , slagging off the guides – saying how nasty they were [-X
Whilst i have my own opinions of the guides,and hosts … the word “Nasty” is not one i would have chosen :lol: ..So from that , i can only assumme it was a clone.
And therein lies the reason my name has been banned …hey ho :roll:
Unless of course, someone else knows different. :-k
i guess this is where you have to decide if it’s worth you registering your name and paying a fee ……..i have.

I see no point in paying … anyone can use someone else’s name, even if it is registered apparently.
However , it would seem i am not banned any more …….. as i was able to get into the room this morning , without altering my name :D/
