Chathost Uk…Just to say , well done for running the marathon. 26 Miles takes some doing!
Be interesting to know, did you finish it, and what time you done it in? :)
Hey
I dragged myself across in 5 hours and 59 minutes. A wonderful feeling to cross that finish line, but never again!

28 April, 2007 at 9:29 am #262713Hey everyone
I know there were some of you that wanted to sponsor the run but were unable to do so because of a lack of a credit/debit card.
If you still want to sponsor the race (it is for a great cause) then you can pay by cheque or postal order.
Simply make your payment payable to ‘Leukaemia CARE, and send to:
One Birch Court
Blackpole East
Worcester
WR3 8SGPlease write on a separate note or on the back of the cheque/postal order the following:
‘Please accept this donation for Martin Reed’s London Marathon run’
Oh, and for those that do have credit/debit cards and still wish to donate, that would be fantastic – the link is:

I am still trying to come up with my next challenge. Any ideas?!?

28 April, 2007 at 11:15 am #262715Hey
I would love to go out there and do something like that. I am also tempted by the ‘Zero Gravity’ flights:
28 April, 2007 at 12:28 pm #262716Have you recovered yet Hostie?
I’m sure sympathy could be drawn up for at least another week…
28 April, 2007 at 1:28 pm #262717I think I am pretty much recovered – although they say it takes the body a month to recover after a marathon.
Apparently I have burned around 3,000 calories, lost six pounds, taken 37,000 steps and subjected my feet to the equivalent weight of 20 million pounds.
Shocking, eh?!?
Thank you very much for the donation :)
28 April, 2007 at 2:22 pm #262718Well done Martin. Glad your feeling better now.
For your next challenge, how about, walking from Land,s End to John O Groats, or doing a parachute jump? -
