Help Required…

Maryj – i have no idea what “young” people dance to now…songs that i hear out now that seem to get everyone up (all ages) are songs like it “Hot in here” with Nelly or “Baby got Back”..but those are old ones…
The Gold Digger song is a good one..the lyrics to that song are so funny or you could try that song “Dont ‘cha” by the pussycat Dolls or My Humps by the Black eyed peas.

Hehehe, well as I’ve said before I like rock/metal in any case so havent got a clue whats in the charts, I just know when I’ve been dragged around night clubs that play it, it tends to be dancy music and rnb ( I never know the songs though )

Well, I work with teens, and can safely say that ANY pop track that has been remixed as a dance tune is a winner. 8)

And trust me, at a karaoke, even 18 year olds know all the older songs – they may be younger but they’re not all that different, honestly.
The last karaoke I was at I sang Elton John/Kiki ‘Don’t go breakin’ my heart with a 19 year old, and neither of us are old enough to remember it, the best karaoke songs are aways classics. 8)

if they are 18 think of songs that where hugely cheesy when they where 14 to 16! they will dance to it trust me play, build me up buttercup and 9 to 5, you will be surprised how much old stuff they like, failing that im surprised you havent asked them personally what songs they want playing, get them in advance! orrrrr

ask them to bring their own cds!
