    i had an old ME puter and just went over to XP a m8 burned important files to a cd, and now on my XP the cd wont open!
    All the info is still burned onto cd on the old puter , but its not running!
    Can i transfer my files from old puter to new? and if so how?
    Im hopeless with puters …plz help a little wabbit xoxoxox

    Try this:
    Put the CD in the drive
    > Start
    > My Computer
    Right click DVD/CD-RW Drive (F)
    > Open
    If that fails post again. :wink:

    a usb pen drive :)

    or a long peice of string, between each monitor :)

    You could upload the files to a free web storage site from your ME pc then
    download them to your XP pc.

    A USB pen is the easiest way – you can also get a lead to connect the computers together to move files over – I’ve used this method before and it’s really easy [but you have to buy the lead!].
