Officials say the 7.6 magnitude earthquake that struck close to
Muzaffarabad in Pakistan-administered Kashmir on 8 October caused
nearly 75,000 deaths and devastation that may take a decade to repair.

Pakistan has confirmed more than 73,000 deaths, most of them in
Pakistani-administered Kashmir. India says nearly 1,400 have died in
the sector it administers. Tens of thousands were injured and up to three
    million left homeless.

The World Food Programme says some 500,000 people in remote areas
have received no aid at all. One of the biggest problems is meeting the
demand for tents that can provide shelter as the cold weather worsens.
Fears are mounting of a second wave of deaths from untreated injuries
    and exposure.

I know where I’m sending my money!

I thought that the background from the ‘About me” page on her site takes some beating for barefaced bloody cheek:

@lynne begging for your money wrote:

I’ll make this bit as snappy as possible! some of it is a bit depressing – then again who’s life doesn’t have times like that?

    (Lots of people actually)

The part of my story that leads me to you reading this started a few years ago now. I had a very bad break up with my ex which lead to a lot of debt being taken on by me but this was much better than the alternative of staying there that’s for sure!

(So you say. But then you are begging for money so this is a bit glib huh? But it gets worse….)

Things were going ok, I worked hard, paid the bills, enjoyed life as a single girl again & was starting to see the light at the end of that tunnel of debt. Then my mum died, very suddenly & my dad was very ill & a year later he was diagnosed with cancer. This was a huge blow & I was off work ill for a long time with depression & anxiety.

After a long time off work I went back on a part time basis but this proved too much for me & when my dads cancer returned I was too ill to work again. Now, my dad is recovering well after a lot of treatment which is great news.

I am still only able to work part-time. I am at the other side of the depression but I still suffer from fatigue which has made full time work impossible.

(Fatigue = I can’t be bothered to get out of bed to go to work)

Well, you’re probably wondering where the debts have come from! Why am I asking strangers for a handout? What about benefits?

Valid questions & I wish they had an easy answer but hey, life would be just boring with that now wouldn’t it.

No it wouldn’t !!! Here she just glosses over the central point [how she got into debt] with a stupid and glib answer then carries on begging for money to pay for her high spending ways)

The debts piled up as I used up all my savings within a few months of being off work the first time. I had always worked overtime / had a second job and so when I was on sick pay at my basic wage things were hard from the start. Then the savings ran out, so what happened? Yes, you’re right – those flexible friends most of us have were used more & more and for everyday things – groceries, diesel, household must-haves. I’m not saying I didn’t ever treat myself during that time but it wasn’t much or often.

(So she financed her ”enjoyment of life as a single girl” by borrowing from credit cards KNOWING that she didn’t have the income to pay them back again).

I’ve borrowed money from family as well but that can only go on so long and those flexible friends aren’t either flexible or as friendly anymore!

(No they want their loans repaid sometime huh??? Credit cards aren’t a free source of money that you can just piss against the wall and never have to pay back)

As for benefits… well, don’t get me started on that one. Basically, I’ve been waiting for 6months to be advised if I can claim DLA (Disability Living Allowance) but am not entitled to any other benefits as I am working & because I own my own house. When I first queried benefits I was told that I would have been entitled to Disability Tax Credits, but these need to be applied for 3mnths after returning to work after long term sick leave – I was about a month over that deadline! I didn’t know about the benefit beforehand & I was planning on returning to work fulltime, it wasn’t until about 4mnths into trying that that it became apparent that it wasn’t possible. Can this be backdated with evidence from your employer & GP? No!

(So you own a house – many people don’t and would love to. You have credit cards and a line of credit in spite of apparently being long term off work. However you seem to work part time – or when you feel like it -so the Government aren’t going to hand out our money to you).

Now, don’t all shout at once – what about selling the house / bankcruptcy? Yes, I’ve seriously thought of those options. I’m not saying that they wouldn’t work but they would also throw up a whole load of other issues – where would I stay? (Try getting a council flat – thousands of others do this). What would happen with a bankruptcy? (Since your assets do NOT exceed your liabilities [you could sell the house] you clearly are NOT bankrupt – so the question doesn’t arise) But bigger than those questions & uncertainty is the problem with the house that I own. I have the family home. Well, we were here for the longest we’ve stayed anywhere and it has too much sentimental attachments to let go of it just yet. Added to that is the problem with housing in my area, a problem I’m sure is mirrored all over the UK. It really isn’t a good option. I know that I may not have another option in the future but just now I will do whatever I can – even this! – to keep my home.

(Oh !!! so you want to keep the house and sponge off everybody else to pay off your credit card debts. Nice).

So, I need your help. Yes, it’s a bit cheeky (Bloody right it is) & yes, it’s been done before but if you don’t ask you don’t get & so I’m asking. But, I’m only asking for £1 from people – it’s not much really is it?

(Well actually yes it is. No doubt there are thousands of soft hearted suckers out there who won’t see through this rubbish and each one will send you money. Pretty soon you will be able to retire and stick two fingers up at the lot of them. Alternatively, you can just go on spending other people’s money on enjoying yourself.).

I certainly hope that this website, as well as helping me, will help publicise the problems that must be happening every day up & down the country.
(…and I wonder who is paying the cost of putting up the site, and hosting it on their server ???)

OK you may think I am being a bit heartless, but this sort of unprincipled and disingenous begging irritates me. The sad thing is that the person behind this- if she really is ‘Lynne’, and if she really exists – stands to make literally thousands of pounds from this website. Think about it!!!
