    Someone help me…

    My new computer is really pissing me off…. Its got a CD/DVD combo drive… yet when i put blank DVDs in it says Blank CD…. It plays DVDs fine… I also have a seperate DVD/CD Burner… and that too says Blank CD when i put a blank DVD in….

    So far I havent been able to make DVD recordings!!

    If i go to explore when the dvd is in there… it says F: is not accessible. Incorrect function!……

    This is driving me mental!!

    Someone please help!!!!

    i think this is normal.. i don’t think the computer can tell the difference, you will find you will be able to get more onto the blank dvd though, wether it calls it a dvd or a blank cd

    nah… it doesnt burn onto DVDs either. my external dvd burner has never done this before either. It was fine on my old poota.

    This is a sofaware issue, what program are you running for your divers?

    Hi :D

    Try CD Burner XP Pro its free and can distinguish CD-DVD also can be switched between Optical drives and can burn ISO. Here
