Hello, Bonjour, Hola, Howdy, and "All That Jazz" ;^)

Hello, everyone,

My name is Chowa, previously LikeRuth, and I have been coming to the boards for quite a short time (<1 month). I live in the US, not the UK, but I have dreams of traveling abroad once my brood is a little more developed – lol.

What is unique about me? Not much. I am an unconventional student (this means I am old and went back to school after many years in a Professional field) and I am also a mostly single parent of three young men, most of which are all grown up. :)
I gave up quite the successful professional career to switch into a different profession and it has been quite the adventure.

My children call me “mini tank” as we wrastle (rough-house/play) all the time and I would be a great linebacker or sumpin!

I started with chat sites because I have a busy and awkward schedule and my friends and family are all over the U.S., with few here.. I don’t want to date and I don’t want sexual stuff, and this seems like the place. :)

Hope to meet interesting people – I am an open book and genuine about the things I say, but I can be misconstrued or get on people’s nerves sometimes. If someone talks to me respectfully, I am usually quick to adapt my ways… usually. :) Well, we all have our moods, don’t we? But I am trying!
