just wondering, when you first meet somone
whats the first thing you wanna know about them?
are you paitent, and like to take time to get to know them properly, or are you impatient and ask lots of questions straight away, and do you not worry about scaring them off by asking lots of questions?
With my experience, Soulie. It’s usually the girls who chuck question after question, and I just usually go with the flow lol. My last girlfriend, a couple months ago, used to chuck question after question, on a daily basis, for quite a while lol. All the questions can get irritating, because you think to yourself, “maybe they’re going to question your every movement” and that involves the trust thing. Because, in my opinion, to get into the females mind, and understand where they are coming from is a really hard thing to do sometimes, and especially to know what they want, and i’m talking about my experience, so its not a shot at you women. That’s why I choose to take things pretty slow, go with the flow, you know. So If I do ask a question to the female i’ve just met, I usually ask the same questions alot of people ask, and then take it from there :)
In my opinion, I think that when you just meet someone, you know, the first month or 2, you should take things real slow, then gradually build it up. So I don’t agree with the constant question asking if you’ve only just met them :)
ps: I know this post probably don’t make much sense, but i’ve just got up lol. So it is what it is .
3 October, 2005 at 8:24 am #149253nope mate.. it made a lot of sense to me, and kind of relate to it, but i like quiestions being asked myself, it stops that silence when you first meet somone, i like the conversation to flow, and when you meet somone for the first time.. only way for that to happen is to ask about one another
3 October, 2005 at 8:33 am #149254I just start by asking ‘where do you come from?’
everything else will follow that pretty easily.3 October, 2005 at 9:38 pm #149255@soulie wrote:

Oh yeh, if it goes all silent, it’s near enough an instinct to ask a question, I agree with that. But the downfall is asking too many questions. Just kick back, have a laugh, and enjoy the time you both have together . And if things get serious, then take it further, but don’t go too far with it in the short amount of time you’ve been together, because getting too close too early can only cause pain :).

Whats with the beard and such questions?
Look at what the topic is about. Some of us do ACTUALLY socialise off the net, and meet real people, and get into real relationships . So I can understand if this topic is too hard for you to understand

Trying to be funny isn’t really your strongest point, Geoff.

Oh come on Roberts, I’m impressed by your worldly experience of dating a woman, I want to learn, after all the only thing I ever ask is asl and hug my monitor, I need to learn from such a wise boy.
At least your honest with yourself, Geoff, I respect that . Well, the first thing we should work on, Geoff, is you being able to stay away from your computer for a few hours, then work on from there. What do you say?
