wonder if anyone can help.
Friend accessed a site earlier today (not porn apparantley yeh yeh lol) and his norton flashed up showing a virus. Anyway he said he couldnt clear it from the screen so he ended up rebooting. He has ran scan twice and it has not detected anything and also ran adware with nothing.
Can anyone shed any light.
Depending on his version of norton he can do the following:
1) Open the main norton window by double clicking on the icon in the bottom left of the screen.
2) Click Reports
3) Click View report next to Activity Log,This will show all the history of found virus’s and where the virus was found. Usually though norton will attempt to repair the file, failing that it will quarantine it, finally failing that it will delete the file completely. So he should have nothing to worry about,

It sounds like Norton has done its job. If he’s scanned his pc and it says it’s
clean, there’s no need to worry.thanks :lol:
