I don’t know what the exact nature of ghosts are, but I have some ideas. They are definited related to dead people, if they do exist and i’m not just crazy.

My gf belives that I can’t actually see ghosts, but I am possesed by a demon and that is making me see things. So that is an alternate hypothesis, I guess.

I don’t believe that demons exist, even less than i’m possessed by one.

One theory is that ghosts always seem to appear or haunt places that have seen some very tragic incident or very high emotional trauma.

Although this probably seems strange to many people, I actually believe in ghosts.

As your brain is  rational negating the necessity of a “god” , what evidence or logic have you behind believing in ghosts?

Ghosts seem to be primarily apparitions meaning they are seen mostly and not many speak. A poltergeist how ever is a force that throws things around. I’ve heard some stories over the years about spirits….a customer once claimed that this spirit lived in their house and it kept making really loud noises upstairs….any way, it seemed to be after the husband primarily and the wife claimed that the spirit even pulled her husbands trousers down. I wasn’t there so  i couldn’t judge either way but many claim to have had strange or stranger incidents.

Because both me and my daughter have independently seen the same ghost, without me telling her anything about my experience.

    Ge

I used to restore Inglenook fireplaces back to their original state in extremely ancient properties. As I peeled back the added layers to reach the original fireplace the ‘atmosphere’ in the room on occasion definitely changed, often the temperature would visibly drop, which might be explained in other ways but the hairs on the back of the neck would stand up and that sixth sense would kick in invisibly. Don’t know if I believe in ghosts but I do believe there is energy and invisible forces out there that can’t be rationalized with science.

Interesting , can you elaborate on your experience? As ghosts would signify some kind of spirituality and afterlife, why do you not then believe in God ? A ghost whilst not evidence of a creator points at least to life after death.

Demons apparently are the wickedest form of spirit….they can get into the ‘earthly realm’ through such practices as ouja boards, clare voyancy, fortune telling etc and their aim is to drive people as mad as possible. They can possess humans and drive them mad…making them have really bad fits and all sorts of other things.
