Campaigners bound in chains have set off on a 250-mile march to commemorate the abolition of the slave trade.

The month-long Lifeline Expedition from Hull to London has been organised to apologise for the slavery.

The event is one of the first to mark the 200th anniversary of the abolition of the slave trade.

Organiser David Pott said “So as we seek to undo the damage initiated by the slave trade it should be no surprise that we face challenges.”

You may be wondering why this story is in the political chamber, well this is no general issue, this is a desperate attempt to promote the disaster that is the multicultural experiment.

Even after 200 years, the marxists who run our country, are keen to put down the prodomanent white/hetrosexual/English/british community by saying, you are the bad people, because your forefathers did this to non whites.

Its as if we can make up for the hardship those slaves went through by shaking the hands of their siblings who live today. There is nothing we can do that will change what happened.

Of course, just like any false bandwagon, liberal extremists like new labour will find every heartbeat for those who arnt white and/or English/british.

Feel like defending yourself from these marxists, vote against them on May 3rd. ONLY by voting these extremists OUT, will you get people who consider you more.

Now, I may be wrong Emma Braun but it was my understanding that the walk was to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the end of trans atlantic slavery AND to highlight the plight and also call for an end to all types of modern day slavery. If they wish to apoligise along the way for something we had no control over – after all they are very religious – so be it!

Maybe it’s a cunning plan to promote Wilberforce ” The Movie” lol which would not be a bad thing as he deserves the recognition for his concern regarding the welfare of others and his major part in the fight to abolish slavery. A great English hero!

Blimey, first I agreed with Emma (not here tho) n now Lil Fek!

    I am getting old!

I to understood the march to be as Lil F described.

To suggest we continue to pay penance for sins committed 200 years ago is no more ridiculous that suggesting Germany should still be saying sorry for the tens of millions who died in WW2 in the year 2145

Learn from the past, dont repeat the mistakes of the past, acknowledge the acts of the past as wrong but DON’T apologise for something which occurred 200 years ago- it wasn’t your fault

Well I’d like to publicly apologise most humbly and sincerely for the part I personally played in the enslavement of the African peoples in the 1700’s and 1800’s.

I now realise that it was utterly wrong; it was a terrible crime against humanity; it was the grossest infringement of the slaves’ human rights and I shouldn’t have done it.

I can confirm that all the slaves currently in my employment (or who were in my employment at the time) have returned to their native land where they can enjoy their lives free of the stigma of slavery.

You are agreeing with me…”The month-long Lifeline Expedition from Hull to London has been organised to apologise for the slavery“.

But I have just apologised for slavery. You no longer need a march to apologise for it.

Would it help if I apologised on behalf of the entire Western world?????

Although you have apologised for slavery and it didn’t stop her I think an apology from the entire western world might stop her from marching….

Lol Slayer..wisdom comes with age :D

What are the above 2 posters onabout?

    #263202

OK OK in order to stop this march and save all the unnecessary expenditure of greenhouse gasses …. I’ll make the supreme sacrifice.

On behalf of the entire Western world I hereby apologise for slavery.

Right that’s done it … now can we all move on and find something a bit more up to date to apologise abouit???

I would just like to appologise for entering the Political Chamber. It wont happen again. I clicked on the wrong forum by mistake.
