Alan, what a splendid solution, why didn’t I think of that. I could get a friend to come round with one of his Hummer’s to remove mine to the local park before Ken Livingston’s congestion charges come into force.
I suspect you may have similar views to me regarding the state of the planet and pending doom put about by the media. I take a slightly different perspective to the masses and personally welcome the continued warming up of the planet. I’ve been able to reduce the quantity of fuel required to get me through the winter each year. We no longer have such long cold periods that we used to; which is nice. Any reduction in the number of mornings when an aerosol of de icer is needed will more than cover that expended in freon from disposed fridge freezers.
Getting back to your unique cleaning solution, the next time you need to exchange units please give me a call. I’ve done a deal with Iceland (the company not the country) to supply fridge freezer fully filled with delectable dish’s including the celebrated Sarah Lee Range of Desserts and Linda McCartney’s Vegetarian entree’s. I’m hoping to clinch a special offer by Xmas to provide a BOGOF deal which should keep the steel mills of Shanghai running for a while producing the metal components whilst Brazil manages the plastic items. You’ll be pleased to hear I’ve managed to overcome the problems we had with our new vacuum cleaner; you remember the new Ball Dyson whose electric cable failed to reach into the corners when plugged into the hall socket. We now have a vac in each room which saves carrying it about you see there is always a solution to the problems that modern living exposes I don’t know what all the fuss is about do you. As the ice caps continue to melt the extra water can be shared out better to those who are less fortunate than ourselves hey, as long as I can still have a block or two in my G&T I’ll be happy.
Cheers….
do u know wot? i love this guy lol xxx hugs to ye langxxx
16 November, 2006 at 8:21 am #248676I think I’ve sussed out Cath’s real identity and feel flatted by her attention and comforting praise. I am ‘touched’ that she has found the time to post to me when this is a busy time for her.
Welcome back into the ‘limelight’ it’s been dull without you.
Hope your new tour goes well and look forward to you coming to Britain next year.
Wish you were my Neighbour….

MJ’s Molly Maids tips on cleaning one’s freeZers’, run down food stock, ie stop buying shyte … when freeZer is empty… turn off at mains..!!! open door … and take out drawer units… fill bath up with warm water with 3 capfulls of sterlising fluid and place drawers in.. ( this is easyer than tryin to wash them in kitchen sink.. makes sense eh…!! two minutes to clean the bath after the drawers cleaned..!!
whilest you have been doing this, the freeZer won’t have defrosted much, best to turn off the night before or if you can’t do this, the hairdryer on warm setting not the hottest mind… and blast the ice away with this… no need for sharp tools like knifes or sledge hammers..!!! when freezers ice all off, washed out with sterlising fluid and warm water… and turn on for atleast 4 hrs before re-filling… this should be repeated every 3mths..!! food that is storaged in your freeZer longer than 3 mths… with get frostbiten and not taste so nice…!!
16 November, 2006 at 10:43 am #248679Really Mary,
We don’t all wish to know the sordid details of how you wash your drawers in the bath, a modicum of decorum during the day wouldn’t go a miss.
Are you sure 3 capfuls of sterilising fluid is sufficient?
You’re not from Essex r u ? Just a thought…
If you were to wear the aforementioned garments in the bath, with the sterilising solution; would it be an effective contraceptive and if so for how long?
Would it be necessary to keep them wet for it to work?16 November, 2006 at 11:27 am #248680i tek it u neva heard of douching lang. the victorians used vinegar.
