I tend to agree with Emma.
If this sort of thing is to be done it should be done with consent. With parents “opting in”.
To take it without their consent is illegal.
It’s a slippery slope to a Big Brother Society.
How about if someone sticks a CCTV camera in your living room Drivel. Would you be happy with that? There’s no reason why you shouldent be. You havent done anything wrong so what have you got to worry about?

I think we slid down the slippery slope to a Big Brother society some time ago, look back even five years ago to see what a nanny state we’ve become. More than ever, government takes it upon itself to bully and berate those who don’t conform to the norm.I couldn’t believe the news headlines on B.B.C. One last night: in stern tones, the warning that we are facing an obesity epidemic..what arrant b@llocks. Does bony blair intend to have us all out pounding the pavements and living on alfalfa beans..{do you really wanna look like Gillian McKeith?] Like sheep, we are herded at every turn….don’t smoke….don’t drink….and meanwhile served up the new opiate of the people….the mindless pursuit of celebrity. We are conceding our individuality. it’s time to say ‘enough and no more.’

Excellent points. Some would say your daft in your latter point, that it cant/wont happen, even extreme, i say your able to think ahead and are extremely sensible.

Finger printing children, is a slippery slope effect by slippery brastards who wana control us.

Its just even more scary, when individuals say finger printing is ok, without looking at the long term deal.

Now now now, me me me.

woah woah woah….. yes finger printing is okay…..

until like me you are accused of a crime you did not commit!!!

i have to say though, this was through DNA testing rather than finger prints, but you have to Defend yourself under the current system.

caused me a lot of embarrasment and a lot of time and could have cost me my job!!

i used to be in favour of a DNA data base, but the system needs a real good look at first.

What a pathetically stupid moronic response BM

I’m on about criminal activity – not the sexual marathons that go on in the privacy of my living room
