. . . while their record was riding high in the charts, guitarist Nile Rodgers and bassist Bernie Edwards decided to celebrate at Studio 54. When they couldn’t get in – even though their record was playing inside – the two went back to the studio to work out some aggresion. They came up with a snarling, popping funk vamp that even James Brown wouldn’t have touched and, with Studio 54’s bouncers in mind, called it “Fuc k Off”. A few days later, after they had calmed down, the chant “Aaaahhh, fuc k off!” became “Aaahh, freak out! “, and one of the best-selling singles of all time was born. The words might have changed, but the attitude was still here.
Yet again, Chic had it both ways – treating their audience with as much scorn as the Se x Pistols, but still managing to sell some six million copies of Le freak.

I think I also read somewhere a few pages back a thinly disguised appology but not wanting to make yourself look completely stupid you keep up your attacks in a sad effort to save some face. You fu*cked up Geoff… there was no gossiping… no sneaking around… and no ulterior motives.
You mentioned digging graves. Maybe you should stop digging now cos the hole you have dug is now big enough to fit both yourself and your side-kick Nic in. Next time you wanna accuse and abuse…. make sure of your facts first before spouting off on the boards thinking you know everything about a subject you obviously dont.:lol: :lol:

Just to set the record straight Fast I registered here again for another reason, nothing to do with Geoff, and im sorry if that upsets you.
You must know that Geoff does fine here without little ole me, hes been doing so for quite some time.
Fastcars you really should take your own advice and do some researching of your own before you sputter off about something you have little clue about.
But whilst on the topic, it would be in yours and PATS interest to get some decent brain stimulation, however you chose to do so is up to you both.

Do you feel better for your rant Doris, it’s always a pleasure to do acquaintance with someone that takes this seriously. As with our Andrew, I hope your chest thumping works and you get people believing said rant, I’d hate to step on your toes in full flow. I hope rednose survives my ‘ripping into her’… it must be very distressing. Now get back to F3 and your false names and take notes, Mr Small Man Syndrome.

If I remember rightly it is you Geoff that has been ranting on for quite a few pages now. It was actually quite funny watching you post the “facts” according to “yourself”. Your not a bad lad really…. you just need to take your foot off the accelerator a bit and check out the details before accusing people of wrong doing. Now Nic….. if you’re feeling a bit peckish then Geoff has got some egg on his face you could lick off.
Ahhhh it was all me… of course, what a numpty I have been! Your rant quite clearly pointed that out. I do admire your defence of your internet chick, in fact I’m filling up as I type. Anyway can you get back to F3 and do your business please, and reply when you have less time, although I fear you always have too much time on your hands.
