Ever since I’ve been in JC – several years now – both f3 and the boards have been pretty nasty.
There have been laughs – if anyone remembers panda – and I’v found some good support here too, but there is a nasty side, and it’s always been there.
Has to be lived with.

In the days before & after the great JC cull. There are many nice folk about but loads don’t bother anymore because of the personal mudslinging.
It does indeed have to be lived with but …… we all obviously have a different perception.
Nasty we live with but well ….. the personal, degrading posts etc of late.
There were post a lot less venomous posts locked or removed by admin back then.
Things change with all things in life but sadly not always for the better. :|

these posts went dead for quite a long time. There were only two or three of us posting for ages, with occasional outbursts of venom which overflowed form the chatroom – was quite difficult to keep them going, but I’ just a Christian martyr. It was also a relief form the main chatroom, which was getting horrible when I deserted to the boards.
More people posting now, so maybe my times is going. The chatroom seems better, now, though you have the usual nasties posing as malicious name-changers, intent on embarrassing people.
Reading between the lines I hear what you are saying scep.
Yes there does seem to be more people posting but I think you have to admit the light hearted banter & drivel is a refreshing change to the venom.
Who are you people, you claim these boards have changed, for the worse, over the last ten years or so and then make a negative thread about it. A negative thread that points out how negative these threads are. Is it an in-house joke or something. The humour, you claim is absent, bypasses me.
Who are you, you certainly don’t chat in JC3 in those names. You accuse people of using “hidey” id’s then post on these boards in “hidey” id’s.
I’ll tell you why I don’t post on the boards very often, because they are mind numbingly dull and I would imagine if I feel like that, others do too.
I don’t want to chat about the “good old days” and when “nice” people used to post, because is exclusive rather than inclusive.
People don’t post on these boards because it is a bi tchfest of cliques and finger wagging and to be frank this thread is as bad as the rest of them.
