Fact: Thin is a wind-up merchant; he freely admits it and everyone knows it.
Fact: the more someone bites, the more he will bait; that’s what wind-up merchants do.
Fact: people can ask Thin to stop, but as long as he gets a bite he will continue. Even people asking him to stop will be a bite in its own way.
Fact: most people know better and don’t bite, that way he leaves them alone

Fact: Annette, as long as you keep biting he will keep baiting.
Fact: the more people try to persuade you to not bite, the more aggrieved you feel and the more you take their comments out of context, reading meanings that they never intended.

Fact: Thin will not stop as long as Annette is biting. Annette, you would not be thought any less of by any of the chatters here if you took a stand, made yourself the better person by ignoring him as so many others do.

I know it won’t be easy, I know there’s a sense of pride in defending yourself, but it’s gone on so long now that there are no winners, just lots of people fed up with reading the same old same old and knowing that unless you are the one to be the better person and ignore it, we’ll still be reading the same old same old in 6 months time.

You have the power to end it Annette, it will take strength to do it and it’s up to you whether you decide to use that power.

JJ’s right you know knitty – this doesn’t mean I don’t like you or anything like that, but if you do just ignore him, he gets bored. Also, lets face it, he has been banging on about my boots card for a year (how dead-beat is that?!), I haven’t responded once – so, who looks stupid?
