Lets share some tips….something I love doing….usually I don’t have any good tips myself but absolutely love reading or learning what others know…..Sophia will be a great one on this thread…..when I used to (hi Angela hope you are enjoying your holiday) chat…she was always giving great ideas in the room
Primark are selling shoe liners….2 pairs of lace ones for £2.50 I think they were….they had anti slip dots on the bottom….ontop of the toe section so it doesn’t show when you wear a ballet pump type of shoe!!….black and nude colours…..I know…..I think they are amazing seriously lol

While were on the subject of feet id like to let people know about this great little idea. If anyone has fine motor skill problems or simply just have difficulty tying show laces. Class Olson stock these simple little inventions, they are called No-Tie silicone show laces. Avoid stumbling over untied shoe laces. Easy to lace up most shoes with conventional lace holes. Clever silicone lacing strips. Never need tying. They also come in several colours. They cost less than £2.50p.

my tip is for blokes always buy a multi pack of black socks,so if you lose one in the washer(like we all do) or get a hole in one,dont be wasting your time checking the cylinder or getting your darning needles out
just put another sock on out of your multi box

Hey up Kenty, although I don’t chat on the boards anymore, this is my sort of thread being a salvager and recycler.
This tip is for a casual short sleeved (or long) patterned summer shirt etc with a pocket. Doesn’t work as good, on a plain shirt.
If you get an obvious small hole, or small rip in a comfy favourite shirt, rather than bin it or just wear it indoors, cut out a matching swab from the the material at the back of the pocket. Cut of any loose thread on the hole/tear etc and use iron on hem tape on the matching swab of material and iron it on (from the inside of the shirt) to disguise the hole/tear, done right it is barely noticeable, or not noticeable at all.

I will continue contributing, I have been looking for a way to distance myself from the personal sh*te, which I have been guilty of as well and no longer wish to participate in and of course I don’t have to stop posting to do that.
